REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

At the time of pick-up, the following physical documentation* issued in the main driver ́s name must be presented at the rental desk of NOVACAR:

  • Valid Passport/or ID card (Passport for Foreign Customers (Passport with entry stamp within the last 6 months for foreign customers)

  • Valid Driving License (Foreign country driving licenses should contain Latin characters)

  • For all rental transactions, along with old or new identity documents, the appropriate driver's license for the rented vehicle class must also be presented. Services cannot be provided in cases where only an identity card and driver's license are presented as one.

    • For Economy Class Vehicles: Minimum 2 years driving license is required.

    • For Medium Vehicles: Minimum 3 years driving license is required.

    • For Upper Class and SUV-type Vehicles: Minimum 3 years driving license is required.

*At least one of them must be chipped.

DRIVER AGE:

NOVACAR company applies a minimum driver age limit determined according to car segments during delivery. Minimum driver age limits are set out below.

  • For Economy Class Vehicles: Minimum 21

  • For Medium Vehicles: Minimum 23

  • For Upper Class and SUV-type Vehicles: Minimum 25-27

MEANS OF PAYMENT:

During car delivery NOVACAR offices require one or two credit cards issued in the driver's name to cover the deposit. The number of credit cards varies depending on the type of car you will rent.

  • For Economy and Medium Class Vehicles: 1 Credit Card

  • For Upper Class and SUV-type Vehicles: 2 Credit Cards

Note: Please note that if you fail to produce a valid credit card or have insufficient funds available, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle.

SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR THE CAR

Upon collection of the car a security deposit will be blocked on the driver’s credit card. This deposit is determined by the supplier considering your selected car category. Please be informed that the value of one tank of fuel and possible traffic fines can be additionally blocked on your credit card. It is recommended to present a credit card with a chip, pin code, and embossed numbers.

NOVACAR requires a certain amount of provision from the driver's credit card or cards, registered under their own name, during the delivery of the vehicle.

Estimated deposit amounts:

  • For Economy Class Vehicles: 2.500 TL

  • For Medium Vehicles: 3.000-4.500 TL

  • For Upper Class and SUV-type Vehicles: 4.000-8.000 TL

*Note: For luxury cars, two credit cards with the same driver’s name are required for all rentals. The credit card must not be from the same issuer but the required deposit amount must be available only on one of the two cards.

Other Conditions:

If the driver is going to use a company credit card (Commercial card), an approval letter on letterhead, stamp and wet signature with the company's trade name is required. The signatory must be a company partner or a member of the board of directors. A signature circular of the person who will sign is required.

Removal of Provision:

After you return the car NOVACAR, provisions will be removed within a maximum of 10 working days after.

RENTAL PERIOD

NOVACAR's vehicles can be rented on a daily basis for a minimum of 24 hours, and on a monthly basis for 30 days.

  • For a delay between 2 – 4 hours, ¼ of the car rental fee valid on that date and the full-day price of the additional product will be charged.

  • For a delay of more than 4 – 6 hours, ½ of the car rental fee valid on that date and the full-day price of the additional product will be charged.

  • For a delay of 6 hours or more, the full-day price based on the car rental fee and the additional product fee valid on that date will be charged additionally.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER

In order for the vehicle to be used by a person and/or persons other than the renter, it is necessary to add the Driver's License information of the additional driver to the Rental Agreement for an extra fee; the additional driver must come to our offices and sign the relevant contract. If an accident occurs by a user or users not mentioned in the rental agreement, all guarantees are deemed invalid, and both the renter and the person/people using the car are held separately and jointly responsible. For price and detailed information, you can call our Reservation Center. (Additional driver rental conditions are the same as the conditions found in Driver's License and Age Limitations.)

MILEAGE LIMIT

The detailed table regarding the number of rental days and the mileage limit applied by NOVACAR is below.

Charges will be applied per kilometer in case the kilometer limit is exceeded, based on the vehicle group. Details regarding Km excess and Km limits are as follows.

●          For Economy Class Vehicles: 5 TL

●          For Medium Vehicles: 6 TL

●          For Upper Class and SUV-type Vehicles: 8 TL

FUEL INFORMATION

NOVACAR company retrieves the fuel tanks of its vehicles at the delivery tank level. If you return the fuel tank below the level you received, the difference between the fuel level indicated in the vehicle delivery form and the returned fuel level will be charged to you along with an additional service fee of 99,75 TL.

For diesel vehicles, a km-based AdBlue fee is charged.

EXTRAS - PAYABLE AT PICK-UP

  • • An additional driver incurs a fee of 199.8 TL per person. For monthly rentals, the fee for an additional driver is 2,997 TL. A maximum of 2 additional drivers is accepted.

  • • Baby seat, child seat is priced at 309.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 3,098 TL.

  • • Booster seat is priced at 199.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 2,997 TL.

  • • Glass and Headlight Protection is priced at 259.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is 3,897 TL.

  • • Interior Protection is priced at 199.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is 2,997 TL.

  • • Cancellation Protection is 199.8 TL. It is a one-time payment and allows for cancellation without charge if requested before the pickup time of the reservation. Additionally, in case the car is returned before the reservation end date, any excess charges after the recalculated rental fee will be refunded.

  • • Young Driver fee is 359.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is 5,397 TL. It is mandatory to purchase the Young Driver Package together with the Maximum Protection Package.

  • • Maximum Protection is priced at 359.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 5,397 TL. (With a damage limit of 7,500 TL, it includes Damage Tracking Protection, Tire Protection, Cancellation Protection, and Roadside Assistance Package.)

  • • Super Maximum Protection is priced at 469.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 7,047 TL. (With a damage limit of 10,000 TL, it includes Maximum Protection, Glass and Headlight Protection, IMM Insurance, and Personal Accident Insurance.)

  • • Mega Maximum Protection is priced at 679.75 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 10,197 TL. (With a damage limit of 12,500 TL, it includes Super Maximum Protection, Interior Protection, and Valet Service.)

  • • Full Maximum Protection is priced at 1,199.8 TL per day. For monthly rentals, it is a fixed rate of 17,997 TL. (With a damage limit of 15,000 TL, it includes, in addition to the Mega Maximum Protection package, rear glass damage and an additional tire damage coverage.)

The coverage of the products included in the package are as follows:

Road Continuation Package: This provides a refund for any costs incurred by the customer and included in the assurance package for things like tire damage, Adblue purchases, etc., provided that the customer presents the receipt or invoice for these costs.

Valet Service: Based on the customer's request, this service provides transportation to any location the customer wishes within a distance of up to 5 km.

IMM Insurance: This is an additional coverage providing an assurance limit of 2,500,000 TL including VAT against third parties, in addition to compulsory liability insurance.

Personal Accident Insurance: This is a guarantee that grants compensation rights of up to 20,000 TL per person in the event of death or permanent disability of third parties inside or outside the vehicle due to an accident. No hospital or health costs are included in the Personal Accident Assurance coverage.

CROSS BORDER TRAVEL

Cross border travel is not usually permitted.

INSURANCE AND COVERAGE

The vehicle you are renting is protected against collision, crash, theft, and attempted theft. Damages that may be caused to third parties are also covered within the limits of the traffic insurance.

In the event of an accident during the rental period, if the necessary documents (accident report, alcohol report, etc.) required by the contract and legal regulations are provided to NOVACAR without any omissions, the renter will be liable to pay up to the deductible amount specified in NOVACAR's rental agreement for the damage and loss incurred in that accident.

However, damages that are not properly documented (accident report, alcohol report, documents of parties involved in the accident, etc.) are solely the responsibility of the user. In cases of undocumented damages, repair procedures will not be carried out based solely on the driver's statement.

Only the person(s) specified in the contract and delivery form can use the rented vehicle. No damage coverage is valid for damages that may occur if third parties not specified in the contract use the vehicle.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When picking up the vehicle, the company will conduct a Findeks inquiry.

In the event of any accident, a crash report appropriate to the nature of the accident must be prepared without moving the vehicle, or accident, theft, and alcohol detection reports must be obtained by applying to the nearest police station or gendarmerie, and information must be provided to the office where the vehicle was rented or to the Contact Center at 0850 582 17 37.

Smoking is prohibited in NOVACAR vehicles. In case of smoking, a penalty of 1,500 TL + VAT is applied in addition to the damage caused by smoking.

In case of damage, a Damage Tracking Service Fee of 2000 TL + VAT is charged in addition to the damage. (Holders of existing Damage Tracking Guarantee contracts are exempt from this amount.)

The vehicle must be returned in a clean condition. In case of any contamination, a vehicle cleaning fee of 200 TL will be charged.

If the vehicle is returned on a date earlier than the delivery date, the refund amount does not cover the total rental period. The rental fee for the days the vehicle was used by the guest is deducted from the total rental fee, and the fee for the days the vehicle was not used is refunded. This fee is calculated based on the vehicle rental amount for that date.

Other rental conditions not specified in the above headings will be communicated to you by a NOVACAR company representative at the time of vehicle delivery for your signature. Please remember to read the document provided to you before taking delivery of the vehicle.
