REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

At the time of pick-up, the following physical documentation* issued in the main driver ́s name must be presented at the rental desk of AVIS&Budget:

• Valid Passport/or ID card

• Valid Driving License

• A credit card belonging to the customer who will rent the car.

  • For Economy Class Vehicles: Minimum 1 years driving license is required.

  • For Comfort Class Vehicles: Minimum 2 years driving license is required.

  • For Prestige Class Vehicles: Minimum 2 years driving license is required.

  • For Premium Class Vehicles: Minimum 3 years driving license is required.

  • For Luxury Class Vehicles: Minimum 3 years driving license is required.

*At least one of them must be chipped.

DRIVER AGE:

AVIS&Budget company applies a minimum driver age limit determined according to car segments during delivery. Minimum driver age limits are set out below.

The minimum age requirement for the customer to make a rental is 21. After the age of 21, the required minimum age criteria for each vehicle segment are as follows:

• For Economy Class Vehicles: The minimum age is 21. For customers aged between 19 and 21, a young driver package can be applied.

• For Comfort Class Vehicles: The minimum age is 23. For customers aged between 21 and 23, a young driver package can be applied.

• For Prestige Class Vehicles: The minimum age is 25. For customers aged between 23 and 25, a young driver package can be applied.

• For Premium Class Vehicles: The minimum age is 27. For customers aged between 25 and 27, a young driver package can be applied.

• For Luxury Class Vehicles: The minimum age is 27. For luxury vehicles, a young driver package cannot be applied, and it is required to be at least 27 years old.

• For Van Vehicles: Minimum age is 25. The young driver package is not applicable for van vehicles; it is mandatory to be 25 years old.

MEANS OF PAYMENT:

During car delivery AVIS&Budget offices require one or two credit cards issued in the driver's name to cover the deposit. The number of credit cards varies depending on the type of car you will rent.

During the vehicle pick-up, it is mandatory for the driver to have a credit card in their name with a valid card number to cover the deposit amount and potential additional services provided by AVIS&Budget offices.

For the rental to be processed, the credit card must meet the evaluation criteria set by AVIS&Budget Car Rental.

Note: Please note that if you fail to produce a valid credit card or have insufficient funds available, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle.

SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR THE CAR

Upon collection of the car a security deposit will be blocked on the driver’s credit card. This deposit is determined by the supplier considering your selected car category. Please be informed that the value of one tank of fuel and possible traffic fines can be additionally blocked on your credit card. It is recommended to present a credit card with a chip, pin code, and embossed numbers.

AVIS&Budget company applies a deposit charge from the driver's own registered credit card during the vehicle pick-up process. The deposit amount may vary depending on the car class and rental duration.

Estimated deposit amounts:

For Economy Class Vehicles: 3000 TL

For Comfort Class Vehicles: 3500 TL

For Prestige Class Vehicles: 4000 TL

For Premium Class Vehicles: 5500 TL

For Luxury Class Vehicles: 10.000 TL

For Van Class Vehicles: 6000 TL

Refund of Deposit:

The amount charged as a deposit will be refunded to the same credit card after deducting any additional services, coverages, fuel shortage, damages, etc., if applicable and not included in the reservation. Deposit refunds are usually reflected on your credit card within 3-5 business days after the refund process is initiated. In cases where the rental was made with a foreign credit card, the refund may take 10-15 business days to appear in the account. Only MasterCard and Visa cards are accepted for payment with international credit cards.

MILEAGE LIMIT
AVIS&Budget has a daily mileage limit of 500 KM for rentals up to 7 days, and a maximum limit of 4,000 KM for rentals of 7 days or more. If the mileage limit is exceeded, an additional fee will be charged per kilometer, which varies depending on the vehicle group. The excess mileage fee ranges between 1.30 TL and 5.71 TL + VAT per kilometer, depending on the vehicle group.

FUEL INFORMATION

AVIS&Budget company delivers the vehicles with full fuel tanks. If you return the vehicle with less fuel than the level specified in the vehicle handover form, you will be charged for the fuel difference between the specified level and the actual level at the time of return. In addition to the fuel charge, the company may also apply their current service fee.

In the vehicle groups that are rented, there is no guarantee for the fuel type (diesel/petrol). Support will be provided based on availability.

EXTRAS - PAYABLE AT PICK-UP

You can obtain information about additional services such as additional drivers, young driver surcharge, navigation, baby seat, and insurance options during the reservation and rental process with AVIS&Budget.

Please note that your payment to Yolcu360 is only for the car rental fee. If you request any other additional services, they will be charged to the driver's credit card.

CROSS BORDER TRAVEL

Cross border travel is not usually permitted.

In very rare cases you may need our support when you arrived at your pick-up location. Assumed you have problems finding the supplier, its location, or you have problems getting the car, our professional customer service team will assist you in such cases.

INSURANCE AND COVERAGE

The vehicle you will rent is protected against crashes, theft, and theft attempts. Damages to third parties are also protected within the limits of traffic insurance. There is no damage exemption in the insurance conditions that we apply. However, the costs of damages that are not properly recorded (accident detection report, alcohol report, documents of the parties involved in the accident, etc.) belong exclusively to the user. In the case of undeclared damages, the damage repair process is definitely not carried out with the driver's statement.

RESERVATION CHANGE AND EXTENSION

For AVIS&Budget, prepaid reservations do not allow changes, but you can cancel the existing reservation and create a new one if needed.

If you want to extend your rental period after picking up the vehicle, you can contact AVIS&Budget offices directly.

They will provide assistance with the current discounted rates for the extension.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

AVIS&Budget company provides a refund for prepaid reservations if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time. In such cases, the entire rental fee will be refunded.

For prepaid reservations with less than 24 hours remaining until the rental start time, the following cancellation policy applies:

• For reservations of 1-3 days, a one-day fee will be deducted.

• For reservations of 4-7 days, a two-day fee will be deducted.

• For reservations of 8 days or more, a 20% fee will be deducted.

Please note that if the customer fails to show up for pick-up without providing any information, no refund will be issued.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

During the winter season, an additional fee for winter tires will be charged at the rental office during the pick-up process.

Other rental conditions, other than the titles mentioned above, will be notified to you during the delivery of the car by a representative of the AVIS&Budget company, to be submitted for your signature. Please do not forget to read the document presented to you before receiving the car.

GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS
