Picasso’s “Young Acrobat on a Ball”, Botticelli’s “Annuciation”, Matisse’s “Goldfish”, Monet’s “Luncheon on the Grass”, Cezanne’s “Pierrot and Harlequin” are just a few of the masterpieces in the museum.

When you visit the Pushkin Museum, Trojan Treasures is one of the sections you should not leave without seeing. These artifacts were smuggled abroad from Western Anatolia by German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann. Some of the Trojan Treasures are on display at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow. Although the return of treasures to our country is on the agenda, unfortunately no agreement has been reached on this issue.

Where is Pushkin Museum?

If you want to visit the main building of the Pushkin Museum, the entrance fee is 400 rubles for adults and 200 rubles for a discounted ticket. (1 ruble is 0.10 Turkish Liras, September 2020) There is no entrance fee for those under the age of 18.

If you want to visit the 19th and 20th Century European and American Art Gallery, the entrance fee is 400 rubles for adults and 200 rubles for a discounted ticket. There is a combined ticket sale for those who want to visit both buildings, but it can vary periodically.

The museum is closed on Mondays. The museum can be visited between 11.00 and 20.00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and between 11.00 and 21.00 on Thursday and Friday.
