The descendants of Brankhos continue to guard the temple for years. The mention of the Temple of Apollo as Brankhidai in many sources also confirms this belief.

The Temple of Apollo is known for hosting many ceremonies. It is the most famous temple of its time. The 25-kilometer sacred road stretching from Miletus Ancient City to Apollo was built and its surroundings were decorated with Brankhid sculptures.
